THE CAPITAL CLUB BUILDING
then + now
This iconic Art Deco high rise in downtown Raleigh, NC, was originally built in 1930 for the Capital Club, one of the oldest and most prominent men’s organizations. Historically significant, this 13-story property has huge potential to be transformed from a small-suite asset into a full-floor tenant asset, as shown by Raleigh Founded, the building’s main tenant with nearly half of the 50,000 square feet. Capital Club 16 is a premier Raleigh restaurant located on the first floor.
Since purchasing the historic office building in 2018, HEM + SPIRE has repaired structure, renovated the lobby, and added a museum exhibit to showcase its historical significance and improve its potential.
